El Cambio
"The Change" is a personal symbolic celebration of all
that changes in life.
Using the musicians from Carmen Romero and The Candela
Flamenca Music Ensemble, Miguel has incorporated the Latin and
African percussions of Mario Melo, the East Indian and
Arabic percussions of Debashis Sinha, Latin Jazz bass Rudy
Bolanos, Latin Jazz sax and flute David Slater and
Flamenco singer Alfonso Mogaburo Cid.
El Cambio is an album that is heavily rooted in tradition yet
composed and arranged in a very contemporary light. Full of dynamic
melodies and rhythmical changes, it reaches the heights of musical
sophistication yet touches the depths of the human soul. With almost 50
minutes of absolutely breath-taking solo guitar, El Cambio is a
saturation of rich flamenco tradition palatable to connoisseurs of fine
music.
